Welcome to your own corner of Provence
The road gives way to a dirt track, and you slow down without meaning to. You arrive in a Mediterranean garden edged with old stone, dry-stone terraces and trees that have seen a good many years.
There is no gate here, and no complicated formalities. We welcome you ourselves, show you round the garden, then open the doors of the Mazet. All that is left is to put down your bags and raise a glass to your first hours in Provence.
The Mazet is an independent house with real character, conceived as a retreat for two.
Stone walls, windows opening onto the garden and a decor blending the charm of old things, finds from the antique dealers and present-day comfort give it the atmosphere people come to Provence for.
The bedroom
Soft and full of light, with a 160 cm bed, for quiet and comfortable nights after a day out in the region.
The kitchen
Fully fitted, for an unhurried breakfast, a light lunch or a dinner to be enjoyed out on the terrace.
The bathroom
Walk-in shower, carved stone basin and brass taps. Today's comfort in a setting that is anything but.
The terrace
In the shade of the covered terrace, the day begins over coffee and tends to end over a glass of wine.
The garden is the part of the Mazet we love most.

The garden
Olive trees, old stone and Mediterranean planting make a peaceful setting where everyone finds their own corner. Dry-stone terraces, pebble paths and pockets of shade: the garden is as much for wandering as for looking at.
The pool
For a few lengths on waking, a cool moment back from a walk, or simply a few hours in the sun. The heated 4 × 2.5 m pool is entirely private and reserved for guests of the Mazet alone.

We welcome you in person when you arrive and take the time to show you round. During your stay we remain on hand for anything you need, and just as happily to share our favourite places and a few local secrets.
The idea is a simple one: to let you discover Provence the way we love it, with its good tables, its markets, its villages and all those small places the guidebooks miss.
